I CHARGE BY THE AWESOME NOT THE HOUR — WHICH IS TO SAY I CHARGE A PROJECT RATE.

All project rates include the purchase of stock images, up to three rounds of revisions, and the delivery of print-ready files.

WHY NOT HOURLY?

Not charging hourly means that our timeline is only constrained by your printing deadline not by a budget. This allows us the freedom to dive in and explore new creative ideas without either party worrying about “wasting time.” It’s important that you are comfortable with the developmental process (that’s why in the Creation stage I provide you with a design critique worksheet that helps you make a complete evaluation of the design), and that we have plenty of opportunities to communicate. I believe the best design work comes from a place of research and play — I don’t want to give you the first idea, I want to give you the best idea.

And you’ll never be surprised by the bill at the end!

GIVING BACK

I believe in building community, giving back, and sharing the joy of books with the world; I dedicate a percentage of my annual income to literary charities. Donations are made annually in the country I have spent the most time in that calendar year. Recent donations have headed to:
